Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know before reaching out — how the engagement works, who it's for, what it costs, and what the framework actually does.
The Engagement
Every engagement is three phases bundled as one: Clarity (a two-hour audit session), Strategy (a written Strategy Document), and Implementation (a retainer where we build the system and run it on repeat using an Act-Assess-Adjust loop). We never sell these as separate pieces — the engagement is the engagement.
For businesses already doing revenue and stuck, not those starting from zero. The engagement suits established UK companies that need systems, not more effort. If you're working harder than ever but not growing, that's the signal.
It's not for businesses that haven't found product-market fit yet — if you're still figuring out what you sell and who you sell it to, you need a different kind of help. It's also not for businesses that want a strategy document and nothing else. We implement.
Clarity takes one session (two hours). Strategy takes one to two weeks to produce and walk through. Implementation is a retainer — typically 3-6 months for the core systems to be built and running, with the full systemisation taking 6-12 months depending on the business.
We don't publish a price list because every engagement is scoped to the business. The first conversation is about fit, not price. If it's not right for either of us, we'll say so. Book a call to talk through it.
The Method
Clarity is a two-hour audit session built on a 50-70 question set that every engagement starts with. You leave with a clear, honest picture of where the business actually stands — what's working, what's missing, and what's costing you money.
The audit becomes a written Strategy Document, walked through with you in a focused session. You'll know exactly what to build and in what order — not a list of 50 things to do, but a sequenced plan that prioritises by impact.
Implementation is the retainer. We build the system — the lead engine, sales engine, loyalty engine, or whichever pieces are missing — using AI to collapse the time between having a plan and having it working. Then we run it on repeat using the Act-Assess-Adjust loop.
It's the loop that runs inside Implementation. Act: run what's built. Assess: measure what happens. Adjust: change what's next. It never closes — every cycle produces better data for the next one. This is what makes it a system, not a one-off project.
The Framework
The Real Business Engine is the framework Implementation builds: three engines — Lead, Sales, and Loyalty — across nine steps (Target, Attract, Capture, Nurture, Convert, Close, Deliver, Grow, Refer). It covers whichever pieces are missing in your business right now. Learn more on the Consulting page.
The Lead Engine is the system that puts your business in front of the right people and converts attention into leads. Three steps: Target, Attract, Capture. Read the full breakdown.
The Sales Engine takes leads and converts them into paying customers. Three steps: Nurture, Convert, Close. Read the full breakdown.
The Loyalty Engine turns customers into retained, growing, referring customers. Three steps: Deliver, Grow, Refer. Read the full breakdown.
Practical
We're UK-based (London) and most of our clients are UK businesses, but we work with established businesses globally. The framework applies regardless of location — the systems are the same; the execution adapts to your market.
No — the Real Business Engine framework is industry-agnostic because every business needs the same three engines. We've worked with professional services, e-commerce, health and fitness, creative agencies, and more. What matters is that the business is established and stuck, not what industry it's in.
Every engagement starts with a conversation, not a price list. Book a call and we'll work out together whether Consulting and Advisory is the right fit for your business, and what it would actually look like.
Your website. It's the first thing prospects see and the first place broken systems show up — unclear messaging, no lead capture, no proof. Check your website before you check anything else.
